Speaking at the working session, Mr. Yvan Liu highly appreciated Vietnam's efforts in digital transformation and science and technology development.
Mr. Yvan Liu said that Huawei wishes to continue to accompany Vietnamese agencies and enterprises in deploying advanced technology solutions, sharing experiences and supporting the training of high-quality digital human resources. Huawei has been operating in Vietnam for more than 27 years, cooperating with more than 400 enterprises in many fields, of which more than 80% of employees are Vietnamese.
Mr. Yvan Liu emphasized that young and dynamic human resources are an important foundation to help Vietnam make a breakthrough in the AI era.

Permanent Deputy Minister Vu Hai Quan received and worked with a high-ranking delegation of Huawei Group led by Mr. Yvan Liu, General Director of Huawei Vietnam.
Huawei representatives also introduced the "One Center - Two Platforms" cooperation model including: AI Computing Center serving large-scale AI model research, simulation and training; Digital Talent Nurturing Platform to help students and researchers access open source technology; AI Application Innovation Platform to support digital transformation in industries and public services. Huawei also shared its experience in deploying AI in areas such as e-government, energy, finance, and healthcare to improve management efficiency and service quality.
Permanent Deputy Minister Vu Hai Quan welcomed Huawei's cooperation proposals, emphasizing that talent development is a key factor in the national technology and innovation development strategy.
The Deputy Minister said that Vietnam has the advantage of a young workforce with a good foundation in mathematics and basic sciences , which is a favorable condition for developing a team of experts in the field of AI and digital technology in the future.

Overview of the working session.
Deputy Minister Vu Hai Quan suggested that Huawei closely coordinate with universities, research institutes and innovation centers in Vietnam in activities such as: Research and development (R&D), organizing technology competitions, international internship programs and AI forums to connect students, businesses and experts.
The Deputy Minister also said that the Ministry of Science and Technology is focusing on developing policies for 11 national strategic technologies, including 6 key areas such as: Artificial Intelligence, Robots, 5G, Blockchain technology, Cloud Computing and Digital Energy. The Ministry encourages large technology corporations to participate more deeply in research projects and technology transfer, contributing to promoting innovation and socio-economic development.
The two sides agreed to continue to discuss and develop specific cooperation plans in the fields of AI, R&D, training and digital transformation in the coming time.
