On October 30, the Ho Chi Minh City Command held a conference to review the work of the Youth Union and youth movement for the 2022-2025 period, and deploy directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 period.
During the past term, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces achieved many outstanding and comprehensive results in all aspects.

Entering the 2025-2030 period, the youth of the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces identified 3 breakthroughs, including:
Enhance the pioneering and creative role in training, building a disciplined system, complying with State laws, military discipline and ensuring safety.
Innovate the content and methods of operation of the Youth Union organization, taking the Youth Union branch as the center, promoting the initiative and creativity of cadres and members.
Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation in youth union work and movements, creating an operating environment suitable for the digital age trend.
Speaking at the conference, Major General Pham Nhu Quan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh City Command, acknowledged and commended the outstanding results in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the Ho Chi Minh City Armed Forces. Major General Pham Nhu Quan requested that in the new period, each youth union member needs to continue to train political mettle, moral qualities, steadfast revolutionary ideals, master science and technology, actively participate in digital transformation, be creative in work, study and serve the people.
At the same time, it is recommended that Party committees and commanders at all levels pay more attention to training and creating an environment for young people to develop their abilities and "be worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.

Speaking at the conference, Lieutenant Ha Tuan Anh, Assistant for Mass Mobilization, Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command, proposed that it is necessary to specify solutions to improve IT capacity, technology application, digital transformation, scientific research and foreign language training for young people; at the same time, organize training courses on information security and network security skills.

Recently, the youth of the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard have proactively advised the Party Committee and the Border Guard Command to deploy digital transformation software in managing people and vehicles, using national databases in immigration work, helping to shorten the time for processing documents and improve management efficiency.

The unit applies AI software in processing non-confidential administrative documents to make the working process quick and effective. Currently, 17 youth organizations under the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command have established digital transformation support teams, with youth members with technological capabilities directly supporting people at the local Public Administration Service Centers every Thursday and Friday.

On this occasion, the Party Committee and the Ho Chi Minh City Command commended 12 collectives and 50 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing emulation movements.
