The event took place over 5 days (from October 22 to 26) with 50 booths displaying more than 500 OCOP products, which are regional specialties from many provinces and cities. Hanoi alone had 20 booths with about 100 OCOP products. This event was an opportunity for OCOP entities to connect, trade, expand the market, and at the same time promote the image of safe agricultural products and food to consumers in the capital.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ngo Van Ngon, Deputy Chief of Office, Hanoi New Rural Development Program Coordination Office, said that in recent times, Hanoi has actively coordinated with many provinces and cities across the country to promote consumption, build and expand supply chains for safe agricultural and food products. Up to now, Hanoi has linked more than 1,500 supply chains for safe agricultural and food products and built 172 agricultural, forestry and fishery product chains to serve consumers.
Implementing the OCOP Program, Hanoi has achieved many impressive results: In 2019, the city had 3,364 OCOP products, accounting for 21% of the total number of OCOP products nationwide, leading the country in scale and quality. Of which, there were 9 5-star products, 19 potential 5-star products, 1,576 4-star products and 1,859 3-star products.

Hanoi's OCOP products are increasingly affirming their role and position in the market, constantly applying high technology in production and business, improving designs and brands, and promoting trade promotion on digital platforms, contributing to the effective implementation of digital transformation in the agricultural sector.
