Military Bank supports Thai Nguyen with 5 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storm No. 11

On the afternoon of October 22, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 5 billion VND donated by the Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) to support people in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 11. Attending and receiving the support was comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Speaking at the reception, comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen sincerely thanked MB for accompanying and sharing with Thai Nguyen in difficult times. He emphasized that storm No. 11 caused severe damage, many areas were landslides, deep flooding, traffic was cut off, thousands of houses, infrastructure works... were damaged. According to preliminary statistics, the total damage in the province is estimated at over 12,000 billion VND.

The leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed that the support resources will be allocated publicly, transparently, and promptly transferred to the right victims, especially poor households, policy families, and especially disadvantaged areas.

MB Bank representative expressed his wish to contribute to helping Thai Nguyen people soon stabilize their lives and restore production, and affirmed his readiness to accompany the province in the next social security activities.
