Dalat - Home of rare birds

Da Lat is known by many other names such as "foggy city", "city of thousands of pine trees", "city of thousands of flowers", "land of cherry blossoms". But in the eyes of ornithologists, bird watchers and photographers, Da Lat and neighboring areas such as Lac Duong district are also home to a very rich and diverse bird species and colors.

Da Lat and its surrounding areas are one of the five Endemic Bird Areas (EBA) in Vietnam – where 8/13 endemic bird species of our country can be found. In addition, there are also sub-endemic species and many special bird species that can be found in this area. This is the best destination in Asia for bird lovers from all over the world . In particular, there are many bird watching and photography spots near the center of Da Lat city.
