This year's theme - "Dance of Love and Light" - carries a profound humanitarian message, honoring the efforts to overcome adversity through artistic dance. Athletes will compete in 4 categories: Ballroom, Latin, Standard and Movement. The organizing committee will award 55 sets of medals, certificates and souvenir cups, with a total prize value of up to 100 million VND.
The tournament had the participation of many prestigious experts and referees such as Mr. Nguyen Thiet Cuong - Vice President of the Vietnam Dance Council; Ms. Nguyen Khanh Thi - Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts (UEF); international referee Chu Tan Duc and international master Dang Thu Huong...
Secretary General of the Vietnam Paralympic Committee Tran Duc Tho said: "Each jump is a story of overcoming fate. These athletes not only demonstrate talent, but also inspire a strong will to live."
He affirmed that the event will contribute to changing the social view of people with disabilities, from sympathy to respect. Each athlete participating in the competition not only brings dancing skills, but also brings love for life, a desire to rise up and strong belief in themselves.
More importantly, sports for the disabled in general and for the blind in particular have contributed to changing social awareness. It shows that every person has value, has the ability to contribute, and has the right to be respected and assert themselves.
Behind that success are the silent efforts of coaches, staff, and volunteers; and the responsible cooperation and companionship of businesses, social organizations, and international friends.
All of these have created a movement rich in humanity, contributing to raising the country's position and promoting the image of a benevolent, resilient Vietnam with a strong desire to rise up.
