AFC sends special gifts to VFF and Vietnam U.17 women's team

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has just sent a congratulatory letter to the Vietnam U17 women's team after successfully qualifying for the final round of the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Championship. The AFC also sent thanks to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and the local organizing committee for successfully organizing the Group D qualifying round.

In the letter, AFC wrote: “Congratulations to the Vietnam U17 women's national team for their excellent performance in winning first place in Group D in the qualifying round and officially winning a ticket to the 2026 AFC U17 Women's Championship Finals in China.

The Vietnam U.17 women's team, under the leadership of coach Okiyama Masahiko, won both matches of Group D, defeating Guam U.17 women's team and Hong Kong U.17 women's team respectively.

Thereby winning the right to participate in the 2026 AFC U-17 Women's Championship Finals to be held in China.
