400 gift packages were distributed to support people in Gia Lai in overcoming the consequences of floods and heavy rains.

DNO - On December 12th, the Border Guard Command of Da Nang Port (Da Nang City Border Guard) coordinated with associations and organizations in Hai Chau ward to organize the "Great Solidarity Bus Trip 2025" program in Gia Lai province - a locality recently heavily affected by floods.

During the trip, the delegation distributed 400 gift packages including essential goods, cash, 6 water filters, 2 portable speakers, 2 sets of drums and trumpets, and 7,000 notebooks, with a total value of nearly 360 million VND.

These gifts were given to students of An Tin Primary School (Van Duc commune) and residents of An Nhon Dong, Quy Nhon Tay, Quy Nhon Bac wards, and Nhon Chau island commune.

Nguyen Thanh Phong, Secretary of the Hai Chau Ward Youth Union, shared that in recent times, Youth Union members have mobilized resources from benefactors, received relief goods, sorted and packaged them for distribution to the people of Gia Lai.

Lieutenant Colonel Van Duc Truong, Political Commissar of the Da Nang Port Border Guard Command, said that the recent floods caused serious damage in Gia Lai. He hoped that the joint efforts of the Border Guard, local authorities, and philanthropists would help people regain their stability soon.
