Ia Nan Border Guard Station launches a high-intensity campaign to combat crime during the Lunar New Year holiday.

(GLO) - The Ia Nan Border Guard Station (Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command) has just launched a high-intensity emulation campaign to prevent and combat crime, drug trafficking, human trafficking, smuggling, commercial fraud, and counterfeit goods before, during, and after the 2026 Lunar New Year.

The emulation campaign was implemented according to Plan No. 155/KH-BCĐ dated November 6, 2025, of the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command. Accordingly, the Ia Nan Border Guard Station focused on enhancing responsibility and vigilance; proactively grasping the local situation, strictly managing people and vehicles in the border area; coordinating with Cambodian functional forces to control the border, promptly detecting and preventing the activities of all types of crimes, especially drug trafficking, human trafficking, transportation of prohibited goods, and illegal immigration rings.

In addition, the unit is stepping up efforts to disseminate legal information to people in border areas; promoting the role of self-governing groups along the border and boundary markers; and mobilizing people to actively participate in the nationwide movement to protect national sovereignty , territorial integrity, and border security.

The station also focuses on building determination, solidarity, discipline, and order; effectively carrying out patrol and control duties, ensuring that no weapons or equipment are lost, and that safety is not compromised during the performance of duties.

The peak emulation campaign will take place from November 25, 2025 to February 28, 2026. The Ia Nan Border Guard Station is determined to complete the set targets, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere to achieve outstanding results in chào mừng the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and the 14th National Congress of the Party.
