Simultaneously, patrols, inspections, and control measures were implemented to manage key routes, areas, trails, and open passages in border regions and border gates; as a result, 6 cases involving 10 individuals illegally possessing and transporting fireworks were detected and apprehended, with over 1200 kg of fireworks seized.

Concluding the conference, Colonel Tran Hong Phu, Deputy Director of the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, requested that units and localities continue to maintain the principle of coordinated prevention and combat between the Police, Border Guard, and Customs forces on a regular and long-term basis to monitor the situation; promptly detect, combat, and handle groups, networks, and individuals involved in the illegal buying, selling, and transporting of weapons, explosives, combat support equipment, and fireworks.

In addition, there should be close coordination in inspecting and controlling transport vehicles and import/export goods, and strictly combating and handling violations in this field right at the border areas and border gates.
