These results were presented at a military-political conference organized by Brigade 573 on December 9-12, aimed at evaluating the Brigade's performance in military and national defense tasks in 2025 and outlining directions and tasks for 2026. Major General Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, attended and chaired the conference.
In 2025, Brigade 573 strictly adhered to resolutions and directives from all levels; implemented many measures comprehensively, and completed all aspects of its work. Many tasks were completed well or excellently.
Typically, the unit consistently maintains a strict combat readiness duty regime at all levels; organizes training exercises for combat plans in accordance with regulations; and achieves good to excellent results in combat readiness inspections.
In terms of training, the Brigade organized training according to plan, with sufficient content, and ensured safety; the quality of shooting tests, drill tests, martial arts, and physical fitness tests reached 75% or higher in the "good" and "excellent" categories, with many categories achieving "excellent" ratings.
In particular, specialized air defense training was conducted rigorously; the percentage of those achieving good and excellent results was high. Agencies and units actively built strong, comprehensive units that were "exemplary and outstanding"; maintaining regular discipline and management showed positive improvements.
In particular, the Brigade also performed well in rescue and relief missions, helping people in localities in Military Region 5 in general and the Gia Lai area in particular to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.
In his remarks at the conference, Major General Tran Thanh Hai acknowledged the comprehensive efforts and achievements of Brigade 573 over the past year. He also requested the unit to continue to thoroughly understand the resolutions and directives of all levels and maintain strict combat readiness.
In addition, focus on improving the quality of training in the direction of "basic, practical, and solid"; strengthen discipline and build regular units; proactively grasp the situation and ensure absolute safety in training and exercises; and prepare well in all aspects for air defense tasks.
In particular, Major General Tran Thanh Hai also requested the Brigade to continue to ensure that all participating forces effectively carry out the task of assisting people affected by natural disasters in rebuilding their homes, in the spirit of the "Quang Trung Campaign" launched by the Prime Minister .
At the conference, Military Region 5 commended and rewarded many collectives and individuals of the Brigade for their outstanding achievements in performing military and national defense tasks in 2025.
