The ceremony took place in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of leaders from various departments and agencies, representatives of the local government, tourism service businesses, and a large number of people from Y Tý.
According to a representative from the Lao Cai Department of Science and Technology, registering and publishing the certification mark is not merely a technical activity, but a "key" for Y Ty to affirm the quality of its services and protect its local values amidst the rapid development of experiential tourism. The certification mark will contribute to building trust with tourists, while also helping the locality standardize its products and gradually elevate the image of "Y Ty Tourism" on the Vietnamese tourism map.

Y Tý is renowned for its four-season climate, majestic terraced rice fields, the unique culture of the Hà Nhì ethnic group, and its cloud-covered mountain landscape, often referred to as the "gateway to heaven" of Northwest Vietnam. Therefore, according to experts, owning a legally recognized trademark will provide the locality with an effective tool for brand promotion, quality management, and the development of its distinctive tourism products.
Within the framework of the event, the Innovation Support Center organized intensive training for propaganda officers and businesses providing services and accommodation in Y Tý. The training content included skills in managing, using, and exploiting certification marks; methods for developing distinctive tourism products; improving the capacity to serve tourists; communication and promotion; and especially preserving cultural identity in the development of tourism economy .
This activity is considered practical, helping the local people, the key stakeholders in the community-based tourism model, to acquire the knowledge to both maintain the authenticity of Ha Nhi culture and adapt to the demands of modern tourism.
Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of the Y Tý Commune People's Committee emphasized that owning the certification mark is a significant milestone for the locality. This will be the foundation for Y Tý to continue improving the quality of its services and building a more professional, friendly, and attractive image.

According to the plan, Y Tý will not only develop tourism in a traditional way but also apply innovative elements, from destination management and service supply chain linkages to information digitization and brand promotion. The goal is to make Y Tý an iconic destination of Lao Cai, where tourists can experience unique local culture within a transparently managed and standardized tourism ecosystem.
The launch of the "Y Tý Tourism" certification mark is considered by experts to be a strategic step, in line with the trend of sustainable tourism development and the integration of science and technology with the local economy. Once the brand is established, Y Tý will have better conditions to attract investment, expand cooperation opportunities, create stable livelihoods for the people, and promote the image of Lao Cai tourism more strongly.
