Bach Mai Ward: 10 key socio-economic development targets for 2026

According to Tran Quyet Thang, from July 1, 2025, Bach Mai ward will operate under a two-tiered local government model. With the focused and decisive efforts of the entire political system, Bach Mai ward has achieved many important results in various fields.

With the increasing workload and greater authority and responsibility, officials, civil servants, and ward People's Council representatives need to enhance their professional capacity, management skills, and leadership abilities to meet the growing demands of their work. In this context, the Bach Mai Ward People's Council has actively prepared and successfully organized two specialized sessions, demonstrating proactiveness and a high sense of responsibility towards voters and the people.

At its third session, the Ward People's Council decided on the direction, targets, tasks, and solutions for the socio -economic development of the ward in 2026.

Accordingly, the delegates reviewed and approved 12 regular reports and thematic reports and announcements of the People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward. At the same time, they reviewed and approved the submissions and draft regular resolutions and thematic resolutions on the 2026 socio-economic development plan; the ward budget estimate and the 2026 ward budget allocation plan; the 2026 public investment plan, the allocation of staffing and contract labor quotas for specialized agencies and public service units in 2026...

To be flexible in the operation of the session, at the session, the Standing Committee of the Ward People's Council submitted to the Ward People's Council a decision on the form of questioning in writing, giving time for delegates to study and carefully review reports, submissions, draft resolutions submitted at the session and discuss and contribute opinions on tasks and solutions for socio-economic development in 2026 in the ward.

Vice Chairman of Bach Mai Ward People's Committee Nguyen Hoanh Dung reported on the results of socio-economic development and security and defense in 2025.

In 2025, state budget revenue in Bach Mai ward is estimated to reach over 37.2 billion VND. Total state budget revenue in the ward for the first 11 months reached over 1,494.8 billion VND; the estimated total state budget revenue for the whole year 2025 is over 1,763 billion VND.

In 2025, the People's Committee of the ward continued to effectively implement the public investment plan; the disbursement progress to date has reached nearly VND 198.9 billion out of VND 240.19 billion, equivalent to 82.8% of the adjusted and supplemented capital plan and 102.2% of the capital plan before adjustment and supplementation (VND 194.595 billion). It is expected that by the end of the year, the ward will achieve 100% of the adjusted and supplemented capital plan and 123.4% of the plan before adjustment and supplementation.

In 2026, the ward aims to continue building and developing in a rapid and sustainable direction, developing services and trade based on the application of science and technology; mobilizing and effectively utilizing all resources, exploiting potential strengths for development; building a synchronously developed infrastructure as a prerequisite for socio-economic development…

The People's Committee of the ward has set 10 main targets, such as: achieving 100% of the city's assigned target for local budget revenue; a growth rate of 10.5-11% in the total value of local products; an average per capita income of 123.6 million VND/person/year; the recognition of one new public school and the re-recognition of one public school meeting national standards; a 96% rate of the population participating in health insurance; and a 100% rate of household waste being sorted, collected, and transported daily...
