Attending the closing ceremony were: Dr. Doan Thanh No, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts; Mr. Pham Thanh Thang, Vice President in charge of the Cao Bang Provincial Association of Literature and Arts; Mr. Be Trung Dung, Head of the Science, Education, Culture and Arts Department, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee; and Ms. Ngo Thi Duong, Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang Province.

The creative writing camp took place from November 4th to 10th, 2025. After seven days of active and serious work, the camp officially closed, recording many practical results and contributing to the cultural and artistic life of the locality. It was attended by 27 artists from various fields including literature, music , photography, fine arts, theater, and literary criticism, from the provinces of Cao Bang, Lang Son, Bac Ninh, Son La, Lai Chau, and Dien Bien. The artists had a field trip to access rich and vivid source materials at the Pac Bo National Special Historical Site, the Kim Dong Historical Site, the Nung Tri Cao Temple Historical Site , the Ban Gioc Waterfall and Nguom Ngao Cave scenic area , and the Ba Quang grass hill. Visiting traditional craft villages: Phja Thap incense village, Phuc Sen blacksmith village, Dia Tren paper-making village, etc. Through these experiential activities, artists and writers are able to access unique historical and cultural values, deeply appreciate the beauty of nature, local culture, and the lives of ethnic minority communities - the foundation for creating works with depth and rich Cao Bang identity.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the organizing committee recorded over 100 completed works; including 20 literary works, 28 photographic works, 7 musical works, and 17 fine art works. The purpose of the workshop was not to focus on the quantity of works, but rather to create a serious creative environment to produce works of high artistic quality. The literary and artistic works were carefully reviewed and evaluated, ensuring a harmonious balance between ideological and artistic value, contributing to the training of creative talents and improving the quality of cultural, literary, and artistic life.

In his closing remarks at the Creative Writing Camp, Dr. Doan Thanh No, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts, emphasized that the insightful comments and thought-provoking suggestions from the experts helped the camp broaden aesthetic thinking, improve creative skills, and deepen the understanding of the value of each art form. Dr. No offered several comments and assessments on works in the fields of literature , fine arts, photography, music, and theater . He also expressed his appreciation and recognition of the dedication of the expert evaluators from each discipline, who worked with a sense of responsibility, seriousness, and high professionalism. The works created during the camp will not only remain here but will continue to contribute to the promotion of the culture, history, and image of the people of Cao Bang throughout the country. The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Associations of Literature and Arts expressed his hope that the creative experiences in Cao Bang will continue to nurture the souls of artists, becoming the material for many valuable works in the future. Inspiration from the mountains and forests, from the depth of culture and life here, is expected to continue to permeate every page, line, image, melody, and stage expression of the artists…

Many works clearly express the emotions of artists and writers towards the natural beauty, the people of Cao Bang, and the unique historical and cultural values of this border region of the Fatherland.
