Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son conducts a field survey on the development of typical tourism products of the province.

(Dong Nai) - On the afternoon of December 11th, a survey team led by Mr. Le Truong Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee, conducted a field survey of several destinations to develop typical tourism products for the province.

Joining the delegation were leaders from the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Agriculture and Environment; Industry and Trade; Construction; the Dong Nai Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; and leaders from the People's Committees of Tran Bien, Bien Hoa and Tan Trieu wards.

The survey team visited and worked with several pottery establishments in Tran Bien and Bien Hoa wards. They also met with some orchard owners and households in Tan Trieu Pomelo Village, Tan Trieu ward, to understand the production and business situation and assess the potential for developing it into a tourist destination offering pottery-making experiences and the opportunity to enjoy local pomelo specialties.

At the pottery establishments, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Truong Son and the delegation visited the production area, product display area, and pottery-making experience area for tourists , while listening to the difficulties and aspirations of the establishments in exploiting and developing tourism.

For some orchards in Tan Trieu Pomelo Village (Tan Trieu Ward), the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the delegation visited the orchards, assessed the potential for tourism development, and promoted local specialties.

Based on the selected destinations surveyed in person, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with other relevant departments and agencies, will advise and propose options for the Provincial People's Committee to decide on destination selection, link destinations, and build a community-based tourism model associated with agriculture in Dong Nai province, in accordance with Plan No. 112/KH-UBND dated September 29, 2025, on building a community-based tourism model associated with agriculture in Dong Nai province. This tourism product contributes to promoting the economic, cultural, and historical values of the Tan Trieu pomelo specialty region as well as the pottery cluster in the province.
