Dong Nai province issues regulations on monthly electricity subsidies for poor households and social welfare policies.

(Dong Nai) - The People's Committee of Dong Nai province has just issued Decision No. 3035/QD-UBND regulating the monthly electricity subsidy for poor households and social policy beneficiaries in the province.

According to this Decision, the monthly electricity subsidy for poor households and households eligible for social policies is 65,500 VND/household/month, based on the price stipulated in Decision No. 1279/QD-BCT dated May 9, 2025, of the Minister of Industry and Trade (this price includes value-added tax).

The electricity subsidy as stipulated in this decision will be applied starting from June 2025.

The decision assigns the People's Committees of wards and communes the responsibility to review and disburse electricity subsidy funds to poor households and social policy beneficiaries based on the prescribed support levels; and to manage, use, and settle the funds in accordance with regulations.

The Department of Finance is responsible for ensuring the funding for the implementation of this support policy.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Health, and the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion are tasked with leading and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to monitor and inspect the implementation of the electricity subsidy policy for poor households and social policy beneficiaries in the province; and at the same time, advising the Provincial People's Committee on the implementation of information and reporting regimes as prescribed.
