With the theme "Dong Nai Students Master Digital Technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Scientific Research," students from the Eastern University of Technology and the Dong Nai branch of the University of Forestry (Trang Bom commune) learned about the scientific research process in the digital age, AI, and received guidance on selecting appropriate tools for each stage of the research process. In addition, students received presentations from speakers on presenting research topics and using AI in presenting research results.
Students participating in the research camp were also divided into groups to complete a research action plan for their topic, from identifying objectives, formulating research questions, determining data to be collected, planning tools to be used, timelines, and presentation formats. Simultaneously, students practiced using digital tools and AI to find documents, suggest chart formats, outline reports, or design scientific posters, etc.

Through these modules, students will be able to identify the research process in the context of digital transformation and AI, and learn how to use various digital and AI tools for searching for documents, processing and visualizing data, and presenting research results.

* Earlier that morning, the 2025 Dong Nai Province Student Scientific Research Camp (Station 2) took place at Lilama 2 International College of Technology (Long Phuoc commune).
With the theme "Enhancing Critical Thinking Skills and Scientific Research Skills," 200 students studying at Lilama 2 International College of Technology explored the core of critical thinking in academia, helping them better understand the nature, role, and methods of developing critical thinking in an academic environment.
In addition, the presenter guided students in applying critical thinking to improve their research topics. Besides the theoretical part, students practiced peer review of research proposals by forming groups to present their research proposals and critique each other's work.
The Dong Nai Provincial Student Scientific Research Camp is an annual activity aimed at creating an academic space for students to interact, share learning experiences, and participate in scientific research; at the same time, equipping students with basic knowledge and skills in scientific research.
