Quy Nhon Ward has completed 20 out of 21 targets for 2025.

(GLO) - In 2025, Quy Nhon ward completed 20 out of 21 targets set by the Party Committee Resolution. Many areas achieved and exceeded the plan, creating an important foundation for the implementation of tasks in the first year of the 2026-2030 period.

On the afternoon of December 11th, the Executive Committee of the Quy Nhon Ward Party Committee held its second meeting to evaluate the results of task implementation in 2025 and discuss and set directions for 2026.

According to the report, in 2025, Quy Nhon ward completed 20 out of 21 targets set by the Party Committee Resolution. The total value of products increased by 8.26%; export turnover reached 139 million USD, exceeding the plan; total budget revenue was 348.5 billion VND, reaching 109.4% of the projected amount.

The commercial and service sectors, urban beautification, and environmental protection were effectively maintained; the waste collection rate reached 99%.

In the socio-cultural field, the quality of education has improved. 100% of the population participates in health insurance. There are no longer any poor households in the ward, and only 15 households are near-poor. National defense and security are maintained.

Party building work has seen many positive changes. During the year, the Party Committee admitted 76 new members, bringing the total number of Party members in the ward's Party Committee to 292.

At the conference, delegates frankly pointed out several shortcomings and limitations, such as: growth rate not meeting targets; urban order and sidewalk encroachment not being thoroughly addressed in some areas; slow processing of some administrative procedures; lack of seamless data sharing; and a segment of officials lacking experience in undertaking new tasks within the two-tiered government model...

Entering 2026 – the first year of implementing the Resolution of the First Party Congress of Quy Nhon Ward and the 5-year socio -economic development plan (2026-2030) – the Quy Nhon Ward Party Committee has set key objectives including: striving for a 12.15% increase in product value; achieving an export turnover of 150.7 million USD; total budget revenue exceeding 519 billion VND; achieving 100% disbursement of public investment; attracting one new project; and increasing the waste collection rate to 100%.

The ward also identified key task groups such as: improving the effectiveness of urban management and land management; strengthening infrastructure upgrades, developing the private economy and night-time economy; ensuring social welfare; maintaining security and order; and promoting administrative reform and digital transformation.

Regarding Party building and the political system, the ward will continue to strengthen Party organizations, improve the capacity and responsibility of cadres; enhance inspection and supervision, maintain discipline and order; and strive to recruit 200 new Party members in 2026.

At the same time, maintaining political security, ensuring absolute safety for political and social events, effectively implementing the 2026 military recruitment, and creating an important foundation for sustainable development in the following years are crucial.
