Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh works with GHA Company and a delegation of foreign experts.

(gialai.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of December 11th, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh held a working session with Cao Nguyen Xanh Agricultural Development Joint Stock Company (GHA Company) and a delegation of experts from Taiwan and Germany. Also attending the meeting were representatives from the Departments of Industry and Trade, Finance, Agriculture and Environment, and Foreign Affairs.

During the meeting, Mr. Le Ngoc Kien - General Director of GHA Company and the expert delegation explored the province's potential and strengths in the fields of energy and high-tech agriculture . They also expressed their desire to strengthen cooperation and expand trade activities in Gia Lai province through a solar power project, a pilot planting model of several high-quality agricultural varieties imported from Taiwan, and a coffee processing plant, among other initiatives.

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh, the areas of interest to GHA Company and the expert team are all areas where Gia Lai province has strengths and is focusing resources on development and attracting investment.

In recent years, Gia Lai province has attracted many high-tech agricultural projects, forming high-tech production zones that apply advanced techniques synchronously, from seed selection, cultivation, harvesting to processing. Gia Lai's high-tech agricultural products have been exported to many countries, with coffee being the main product.

In the energy sector, with its diverse topography, distinctive climate, and rich ecosystem, Gia Lai possesses all the favorable factors for developing renewable energy sources such as wind power, solar power, and hydropower. Over the past period, the province has proactively built mechanisms to attract investment, improved the business environment, publicly disclosed project lists, and organized transparent bidding processes. As a result, many renewable energy projects have been implemented and put into commercial operation, contributing to supplementing a stable power supply for the national electricity system.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tuan Anh welcomed GHA Company and the expert delegation to explore investment opportunities in the province; and pledged to create all favorable conditions for businesses during the investment exploration process.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Tuan Anh instructed relevant departments and agencies to provide a list of investment attraction projects in the province; support the delegation in researching investment, construction, and development projects in solar power; introduce some capable enterprises in the field of high-tech agriculture for the delegation to survey and cooperate with; and guide the procedures for applying for permits to import plant varieties from abroad into Vietnam…
