The project, implemented by the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center in collaboration with the Ham Rong Agricultural, Commercial and Ecotourism Cooperative, covers 30 hectares of coffee plantations currently in production, cultivated contiguously by four households.

Over the three years of implementation, households received support from the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center in the form of 90,000 tons of microbial organic fertilizer and 90 liters of organic foliar fertilizer; and training on techniques for producing, harvesting, and processing organic coffee.

In particular, the Ham Rong Agricultural, Commercial and Ecotourism Cooperative has signed a contract to sell organic coffee products according to European Union standards with Vinh Hiep Co., Ltd., supplying 60-80 tons annually at a price 1.3 times or more higher than that of traditionally produced coffee.

From 30 hectares of model coffee plantations, the project has now expanded by an additional 12 hectares, bringing the total area of coffee supported with organic certification according to European Union standards, traceability labels, and planting area codes to 42 hectares.

The total capital for implementing the model is over 4.2 billion VND, of which the National Agricultural Extension Center contributed 2 billion VND, and the remainder was contributed by the people.
