Hoành Mô Border Guard Post provides Chinese language training for officers and residents in the area.

On the afternoon of December 10, 2025, the Hoành Mô Border Guard Post held a closing ceremony for the Chinese language class for officials, staff of agencies and units, and people in Hoành Mô commune.

The Hoành Mô Border Gate Border Guard Station awarded 19 gifts to trainees who achieved excellent results in the course.

The Hoanh Mo Border Guard Post organized a Chinese language training course starting in August 2025, held continuously on Saturday and Sunday evenings. The course was completely free and attracted 59 participants, including officers, civil servants, and employees from various agencies and units in the area; youth union members, students, and residents interested in learning a foreign language. The instructors were officers from the Hoanh Mo Border Guard Post who had graduated with a major in Chinese from universities.

Students learn through a hybrid format, combining in-person and online instruction (via Zoom), using standard Chinese language teaching materials. Each lesson is taught by topic, linked to real-life situations; games, videos , and songs are used to increase learning engagement.

After nearly four months, the trainees had basically mastered listening, reading, writing, and basic communication skills. At the closing ceremony, the leaders of the Hoành Mô Border Guard Post awarded 19 gifts to trainees who achieved outstanding results in the course.

Building on the achievements already made, from 2026 onwards, Hoanh Mo Border Guard Station strives to organize at least 1-3 Chinese language training courses each year.
