A delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is working in An Giang province.

On December 11th, Associate Professor Dr. Duong Trung Y, Deputy Director of the Academy and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee 35 of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy, along with a delegation, visited An Giang province to survey the implementation of Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation."

Receiving and working with the delegation were Comrade Tong Phuoc Truong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee 35 of An Giang province; the Deputy Heads of the Provincial Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; and representatives of the leaders of relevant departments and agencies.

In An Giang province, the implementation of Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW has significantly contributed to the fulfillment of the local political tasks. The province's economy continues to develop. Culture and society have seen many positive changes. Social welfare policies and "Gratitude and Repayment" activities have yielded good results; the poverty rate has decreased. National defense and security have been strengthened; territorial sovereignty, borders, seas, islands, political security, and social order and safety have been maintained. Party building and the political system have seen positive changes. These achievements have significantly contributed to consolidating the people's trust in the Party and the State, and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Duong Trung Y highly appreciated the approach and achievements of the Steering Committee 35 of An Giang province. He also requested that the Steering Committee 35 of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics actively cooperate with the Steering Committee 35 of An Giang province in implementing measures to combat and refute erroneous and hostile viewpoints; regularly exchange information; and continue to share experiences and replicate successful models and effective methods in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in the future.
