Dao Le Phuong Chi, born in 2005, is currently studying at the Vietnam National Academy of Music. In the final round, she chose two technically demanding songs, "Song Dakrong Mua Xuan Ve" (Dakrong River in Spring) and "Nguoi Ha Noi" (Hanoi People). Her refined delivery, rich nuances, and steady breath control earned her perfect scores, surpassing many other outstanding singers to claim the championship title.

Few people know that Phuong Chi is a student of Meritorious Artist Phuong Nga – a talented lecturer and the winner of the 2001 Sao Mai Singing Contest. More than 20 years after her teacher's victory, Phuong Chi has become a living testament to the vitality of classical music and the quality of training at the Academy.

Among the contestants who attracted attention, Vu Tan Dat – the son of singer Trong Tan – received much expectation thanks to his bright voice and mature performance style. Although there are still some areas that need improvement in breath control and climaxes, especially when performing "My Homeland Has Never Been So Beautiful," Tan Dat brings a youthful color to the classical-revolutionary music genre.

In the final night, Tan Dat performed the opening act and continued to test his skills with two songs previously performed by singer Trong Tan: "My Homeland Has Never Been So Beautiful" and "Legend of Ho Guom Lake." In the two songs he chose to perform, Tan Dat's voice was expressive and his stage presence was dignified and captivating. However, in the first song, his breath control was somewhat lacking in certain areas, and the climaxes lacked energy and individuality. Ultimately, Vu Tan Dat finished second.

The Hanoi Singing Contest 2025 finals also honored many other outstanding talents: First prize went to Nguyen Phuong Anh (classical) and Nguyen Thuy Hai Anh (pop music). Second prize went to Pham Hong Anh and Vu Tan Dat (classical); Nguyen Gia Linh and Vo Thi Duyen (folk); and Nguyen Van Viet Cuong (pop music). Third prize went to Hoang Van Hiep (classical), Hoang Khanh Ly (folk), and Nguyen Le Duy Anh (pop music).
