Singer Van Mai Huong has just released her fifth studio album titled "Giai Nhan" (Beautiful Woman). This is a music project that has been eagerly awaited by both music professionals and audiences.
With this album, Van Mai Huong continues her collaboration with songwriter Hua Kim Tuyen, exploring the image of a charming, independent, and confident woman, ready to confront the vulnerabilities and imperfections in life and relationships.
“ The journey of a beauty is a very personal one, where I allow myself to be true to things I once kept hidden and tell my own stories: the twists and turns, the losses, the times I learned to love, to let go, and the emotions that deserve to be preserved.”
"This is not just an album, but a reflection of the woman within me: gentle yet resolute, vulnerable but not defeated. After all, 'Giai Nhan' (Beautiful Woman) is a tribute to those souls who were once fragile but still chose to move forward, with all the gentleness within themselves," Van Mai Huong shared.

The album includes 9 songs: "Precious," "Rose Garden," "Love Song," "Delicious Flavor," "Tearful Heart," "Gray Region," "Gift," "Whispering," and "Closing the Curtain," all written by songwriters based on Van Mai Huong's own reflections on past relationships.
The project features a distinctly East Asian musical style but still retains a modern feel by exploring and combining diverse genres such as pop, city pop, bolero, bossa nova… and even pentatonic music.
In the song "Bao Boi" (Treasure), Van Mai Huong's ao dai (traditional Vietnamese folk singing) part becomes a unique highlight. With "Nhat Tinh" (Love Song) , the female singer attracts attention with her catchy rap skills. And " Uot Long" (Tearful Heart) marks a fusion of pop and bolero.
Additionally, the album also features interesting collaborations between Van Mai Huong and Chi Pu and diva Ha Tran in "Garden of Roses ," with "Hurryking" in "Love Song ," and a reunion with Grey D in "Gray Zone" after the success of "June Rain" released two years ago.

The album marks a more profound and mature side of Van Mai Huong. The melodies and stories in the album are sometimes gentle, sometimes vibrant, and also quite edgy, all created within a multifaceted flow of emotions.
The singer revealed that the song "The Gift " is a farewell and a message for an ex-lover at the end of a relationship, so that both can move on to another journey with a lighter heart, knowing how to appreciate the beautiful things they once had and looking towards what is worthwhile for the present and future.
At the album launch event on the afternoon of December 10th in Ho Chi Minh City, Chi Pu happily revealed that "Vuon Hong" (Rose Garden) is her "number one" favorite song because it's a collaboration between her and Van Mai Huong. Besides that, the singer loves the song "Vung Xam" (Gray Region) because it's associated with very real-life stories.
Singer Toc Tien shared: "Van Mai Huong's voice is at its peak, no longer at its technical peak as usual, but at its emotional peak. I listened to the album and felt very moved."
