The artists participating in the play "Who is the Husband, Who is the Wife?"
On the evening of December 9th, the New Stage held a rehearsal of the comedy "Who's the Husband, Who's the Wife?" by author Nhu Truc, directed by Minh Nhat, with the participation of beloved artists: Hoai Linh, Hua Minh Dat, Quach Ngoc Tuyen, Thuy Trang, Mac Van Khoa, Vu Phuong Linh, Trung Huy, Phuoc Loc, Tat Dieu Hang, Cong Huy, Kha Son… The play is considered a modern experiment by bringing the story of marriage and family into the context of AI technology changing human life.
"Who is the husband, who is the wife?" - when marriage engages in dialogue with technology.
"Who's the Husband, Who's the Wife?" opens with a familiar situation in many families today: husbands and wives no longer understand each other, and small differences gradually accumulate into a large gap. In the loneliness of their own homes, each person chooses to seek a "confidant"—but ironically, that person is a robot created by AI.
From here, a series of tragicomic situations erupt: jealousy, misunderstandings, tests of trust, and even moments of laughter due to the "over-perfection" of artificial intelligence, contrasting with the clumsiness but authenticity of humans.

What will happen when AI robots enter married life?
The director skillfully explores a realistic portrayal: the more people chase after artificial perfection, the more they forget the value of everyday love and affection.
Comedy interwoven with humor
The highlight of the play is its script's structure, which seamlessly blends comedy and tragedy, keeping the story tense yet gentle, profound but not heavy.
Audiences laugh at the hilarious clashes between real people and robots, and then pause when the character confronts the big question: What makes us family – is it genuine emotion, not programmed perfection?
This message is clearly conveyed through the characters' journey of awakening: only when they truly look back at each other, understand the wounds and needs of their partner, can they find happiness again.
The play affirms a simple yet powerful truth: Machines can simulate love, but they cannot replace the heart.

The play "Who's the Husband, Who's the Wife?" features many funny and entertaining situations.
The "comedians" reunite.
The premiere of the play "Who's the Husband, Who's the Wife" promises to add more appeal to the New Stage because it features a cast of professional actors who know how to grasp the rhythm of the script: Meritorious Artist Hoai Linh returns to the stage with a natural, charming demeanor, handling both physical actions and dialogue smoothly, making his character both relatable and deeply humorous.
Actors Hứa Minh Đạt and Quách Ngọc Tuyên are the two pillars that keep the entire comedic-tragic storyline interwoven seamlessly. Actors Tất Diệu Hằng and Thùy Trang create charming and insightful dialogues about family breakdown and the need for understanding in women's lives.
Actor Mac Van Khoa, in his first transformation into an AI robot, brings fresh laughter with his "genuinely naive" acting style. The moments where he tries to "play the human role" create a special effect: humorous yet thought-provoking, exploring the boundary between reality and illusion in emotions.

Will humans fight AI to protect their happiness?
In addition, the play features a cast of young actors such as Vu Phuong Linh, Trung Huy, Minh Man, Cong Huy, Thien Man, Kha Son, etc., contributing to the lively rhythm of the performance and keeping the audience full of energy.
A new perspective on family in the age of AI.
This comedy is an entertaining product with a gentle cautionary message: In an age where technology can "produce" virtual friends, lovers, and even spouses, the most important thing remains the ability to talk, listen, and understand within each real family.
With its witty storytelling, lively staging, and humanistic message, the play "Who's the Husband, Who's the Wife?" promises to bring audiences a family story full of laughter, but also leave a profound impact on the value of marriage and sincerity between people.
