Following an outstanding performance and a convincing victory against U22 Malaysia on December 11th, coach Kim Sang-sik expressed his joy at the post-match press conference. He also attributed this victory to thorough research of the opponent through tactical meetings, match analysis, and the preparation of effective strategies and countermeasures.
The South Korean strategist said: "I am very happy that Vietnam won today and advanced to the semi-finals as group winners. This result was achieved thanks to Dinh Bac and all the players who gave their all on the field. In addition, a significant part of the credit goes to the Vietnamese fans who came to the stadium and cheered enthusiastically."

Coach Kim Sang-sik contributed to helping the Vietnam U22 team reach the semi-finals of the 33rd SEA Games.
Speaking about his goal in the semi-finals, Coach Kim expressed his determination: "We want to return to the Rajamangala Stadium to play the final and win the tournament here."
