On the afternoon of December 11th, the Vietnamese women's team defeated Myanmar 2-0, while the Philippines secured a resounding 6-0 victory over Malaysia. With both teams having 6 points, the Vietnamese women's team topped the group with a goal difference of +8, while the Philippines and Myanmar had goal differences of 6 and 2 respectively, determining second place.
Thus, the Vietnamese and Philippine women's teams took the top two positions in the group. Myanmar was eliminated along with Malaysia, marking the first time since 1995 that the Myanmar women's football team has failed to advance beyond the group stage of the SEA Games.
Thus, the two semi-final pairings have been determined: Group A winner Thailand vs. Philippines, and Group B winner Vietnam vs. Indonesia. Both semi-final matches will take place on December 14th.
In Group A, Thailand finished their final matchday with a 2-0 victory over Singapore to secure first place, winning both of their games. Indonesia, despite a humiliating defeat against the host nation, still won 3-1 against Singapore to advance as runners-up.

According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's team will have two days to recover and prepare for the knockout match, aiming for their 5th consecutive gold medal and 9th in history.
Furthermore, Huynh Nhu still has the opportunity to set a personal record by scoring in 6 consecutive SEA Games, and to surpass the milestone of 12 goals she currently holds from previous seasons.
