In this match, the Vietnamese women's team scored two goals within the first 15 minutes, thanks to Bich Thuy and Van Su. After that, the team played solidly to maintain their 2-0 lead.

After the match, coach Mai Duc Chung expressed his gratitude to the fans, especially those supporters who were present in the stadium to cheer on the team, even though their number was only slightly more than 10 compared to the majority of the audience from Myanmar.
"The encouragement from the media and fans gave us more determination to complete the task. We only had one path left: to win to secure our place in the next round, and the whole team fought with the indomitable spirit of Vietnamese women," coach Mai Duc Chung shared.
The head coach of the Vietnamese women's national team affirmed that playing under the "heat" of a large crowd created motivation: "Today, in front of a large Myanmar audience, the players not only overcame the pressure but also played with more enthusiasm."

After the loss to the Philippines, the coaching staff adjusted their tactics, proactively pushing the team forward to attack. "If we played defensively, it would be very difficult. We were forced to attack to score goals, and this change proved correct," said coach Mai Duc Chung.
Coach Mai Duc Chung emphasized that the team will prepare thoroughly for the next match: “Indonesia and Malaysia have both improved. We respect our opponents and will focus intensely on the upcoming match.”

Ngân Thị Vạn Sự, the scorer of the opening goal, emotionally shared: “Entering the match, the team faced a lot of pressure, but Coach Mai Đức Chung always encouraged the whole team to be strong, courageous, and confident. Thanks to the coaching staff's sound tactical plan, the team performed well and achieved the desired result. I feel extremely happy and proud of today's match.”
To promptly commend the achievements of both teams, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has decided to award 700 million VND to the Vietnamese women's national team.
