On December 11th, the Quang Tri Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the organizing unit, announced the running event to take place from May 28th to 31st, 2026. Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Mr. Le Phu Son – Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Tri province – emphasized: Phong Nha Wild Trail 2026 is a particularly meaningful activity, contributing to celebrating major holidays and looking forward to the Peace Festival 2026.

According to Mr. Son, Phong Nha - Ke Bang, with its diverse ecosystem and pristine landscape, is a crucial foundation for developing sports and adventure tourism. "We expect the race to become a highlight attracting athletes and tourists, thereby spreading the image of Quang Tri as a green, safe, and inspiring destination," Mr. Son affirmed.
