In early December, the atmosphere at garment factories in Ha Tinh province became more vibrant and bustling after months of struggling with a lack of orders. Following a period of tightened standards from partners, the Export Garment Joint Stock Company (Bac Cam Xuyen Industrial Park, Cam Binh commune) received a large number of orders from the Japanese market – a long-standing partner of the company. These new contracts are sufficient for the company to maintain production until the end of March 2026.

The atmosphere at the Export Garment Joint Stock Company is one of frantic production.

Mr. Dinh Nam Giang – Chairman of the Trade Union of MTV Garment Export Joint Stock Company, said: “October and November were the most difficult months, with orders totaling 2,000 products being returned by one-third. Workers had to fix errors while maintaining production, and the prolonged pressure led to low morale. However, from December onwards, the difficulties have gradually been overcome. A large number of orders have also been signed, so workers feel more secure in their jobs. Currently, the company has exceeded its initial plan by 20%, with estimated revenue reaching nearly 40 billion VND.”

Reportedly, in 2025, the Vietnam Export Garment Joint Stock Company will open three more production lines at its second facility in Can Loc commune, bringing the total number of garment processing lines to seven. Nearly 300 workers are currently employed stably with an average income of 6-8 million VND per month. With orders already secured until the end of the first quarter of 2026, the company is confident in ensuring welfare for its workers during the Lunar New Year of the Horse.

Also rushing to fulfill year-end orders, TAAD Ha Tinh Production, Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company (Thanh Sen Ward) is currently racing against time to complete shipments of personal protective equipment for export to Japan. According to the plan, the company aims to achieve a revenue of 50 billion VND in 2025. On average, the company produces 10,000-15,000 products of various types each month.

Mr. Nguyen Canh Vinh – Deputy Director of TAAD Ha Tinh Production, Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, said: “Typhoon No. 10 caused significant damage to the factory, but the company quickly restored operations to avoid disrupting workers' jobs. In the last months of the year, market signals improved, and orders have been signed until March of next year. Besides maintaining existing partners, we are taking advantage of opportunities to shift orders from countries with higher costs.”

Currently, a bustling production atmosphere is also present at Gaiwach International Co., Limited (located in Cong Khanh 1 Industrial Park, Nam Hong Linh Ward). 220 workers are busy completing lines of high-end lingerie and swimwear for export to Europe.

“As a garment manufacturing company, we produce finished products with higher value compared to outsourcing; however, this also requires a rigorous process from design and fabric cutting to assembly. Currently, our company's orders are fully booked until the end of Q1/2026. We are recruiting 30 more workers to open an additional sewing line, preparing for long-term contracts in 2026,” said Ms. Le Thi Hien, Recruitment and Communications Officer, Gaiwach International Co., Limited.
