She emphasized that in order to work together and produce this product, the two people must find a common source of energy. Van Mai Huong also expressed her admiration for Chi Pu when she participated in the project.
Van Mai Huong talks about her statement 8 years ago:
Chi Pu said that it was only after receiving Van Mai Huong's invitation the second time that she agreed to participate. The first time, Chi Pu refused because she felt the product was not suitable and the timing was not right for the collaboration. However, when she heard the Rose Garden demo, Chi Pu just texted: "Let's play."
Chi Pu explained that the decision stemmed from her admiration for Van Mai Huong's artistic spirit. She emphasized that in 5 years, Van Mai Huong released 3 albums, demonstrating a rare diligence and perseverance in Vietnamese showbiz. Chi Pu affirmed that she focused on her artistic sense and expertise, ignoring the previous noise.
When asked about the pressure of standing next to a top vocalist like Van Mai Huong, Chi Pu admitted that she entered the project with confidence. She believed in producer Hua Kim Tuyen's ability to highlight each person's individual color, creating resonance for the song.
Chi Pu believes that each person has different strengths, and it is those differences that create the uniqueness of the product. Van Mai Huong humorously shared that to stand next to Chi Pu, she had to lose weight and practice a lot before filming the MV. She was also frank about the pressure of standing next to someone who is both beautiful and a good dancer like Chi Pu.
The two confirmed that they will have their first live stage performance together, and each person can perform the song separately because this is a joint collaboration product.
