
On weekends, dozens of young people line up to buy Northern-style sticky rice at a restaurant on Thao Dien Street (An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). Many people come because they are curious about the taste of Northern cuisine , and at the same time want to take photos and check-in in a space with lots of green trees, cool, evoking the feeling of autumn in Hanoi.

Many diners were happy to wait 1-2 hours to buy sticky rice. Young girl Nhu Y also excitedly lined up to order food, saying she did not mind waiting because she could take pictures in the surrounding spaces.
According to the manager, on weekends, even though it's not yet opening time, many customers have already lined up to buy sticky rice, making the restaurant always crowded.



The restaurant serves various types of sticky rice, white sticky rice, green bean sticky rice, and green rice sticky rice, served with four main dishes: braised pork, pork floss, fatty sausage, and eggs. In addition, the restaurant also has banh gio, tao pho, nem chua ran, chè, and drinks such as apricot and sau - typical flavors of the North. Prices range from 22,000 to 65,000 VND depending on the dish.

Yen Vy said she had been at the restaurant since 7am - even though it only opened at 7:30am - to avoid having to wait in line for too long. She often takes photos to review food so she doesn't want to miss out on "delicious, hot" restaurants.
Vy commented that the restaurant’s sticky rice was plump, the pork floss had a rich flavor, the fried onions were fragrant, and the overall dish was delicious. She was especially impressed with the sour plum juice, saying that it “went really well” when served with sticky rice.

The restaurant impresses with its airy space, located in a complex with a garden and lots of trees, giving the feeling of sitting in the middle of a "forest".
The cool and shady space reminds many diners of Hanoi's autumn with bright yellow sunshine and a bit of year-end dryness.

Tuyet Tran and her friends took photos while waiting for the food. Tran said that she had enjoyed the sticky rice at the first location before and loved it because it was delicious. When the restaurant opened a new location, even though it was quite far away, she still took the opportunity to visit on weekends because the space here was very beautiful.

The sunlight shining through the tree canopy makes the space more "poetic".

The outdoor dining area is always full of customers. The open space helps diners get closer to nature. The restaurant provides hand fans for customers and regularly sprays insect repellent.

After nearly an hour of traveling to the restaurant and waiting about 30 minutes from ordering, Thao and Uyen enjoyed green bean sticky rice and pork floss sticky rice. They said the price was a bit high compared to other sticky rice shops, but the portion was very filling, filling and delicious.

As soon as she received the dish, Nhu Quynh took a picture and praised "it smells so good".

Every day, the restaurant serves about 500-600 customers. Although there is always enough sticky rice and side dishes, customers still have to wait because the number of tables is limited.

Anh Tu and Ngoc Anh woke up at 6am and traveled nearly 20km to enjoy Hanoi-flavored sticky rice. They both knew about the restaurant through videos that were widely shared on social media and anticipated having to wait in line, but still wanted to try it out of curiosity.

The shop often puts up a sign saying no to customers during peak hours.

The owner of the chè shop nicknamed "chè chào" or "chè nương" confirmed that he is hated and hated by many customers, but the small shop is still famous, with many customers coming to visit for the past several decades.
