Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province, said that the series of events "Hello Ca Mau" will open on November 18 in Ho Chi Minh City, opening a comprehensive program to promote the investment, trade and tourism potential of the southernmost land of the country and lasting until November 22.

This is an activity organized by the People's Committee of Ca Mau province in coordination with the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City with the theme "Awakening potential, creating the future" for this land rich in cultural sediments and natural resources.

The highlight of the event is the investment cooperation conference for enterprises from Ho Chi Minh City to Ca Mau province, which will take place on the morning of November 18 at Rex Saigon Hotel. The conference is expected to gather about 300 central and local delegates, domestic and foreign enterprises and international investment promotion organizations.

Here, Ca Mau will introduce investment incentive policies, key projects, and strategic investment calling areas. At the same time, the province will also open a forum to discuss the goal of making Ca Mau a “new growth pole of the Mekong Delta”.

According to the program, leaders of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province will present development orientations and investment priorities for the 2025-2030 period, especially in the fields of renewable energy, marine economy , eco-tourism, and seafood processing.

At the conference, attendees will be treated to a special menu of dishes made from Ca Mau specialties, including Ca Mau crab, to introduce the quintessence of Southern cuisine. In parallel, there will be an exhibition area introducing digital government, renewable energy, industry, tourism, OCOP products, green agriculture, culture - heritage... through images, publications and virtual reality technology.

Along with investment promotion activities, the Food Festival - Ca Mau Crab Festival 2025 is the main highlight activity, taking place continuously for 5 days (from November 18 to November 22, 2025) at the Youth Cultural House (No. 4 Pham Ngoc Thach, HCMC).

Here, there are 100 booths of specialties of the river region with four main spaces: Ca Mau image exhibition, OCOP product display and Western specialties, culinary area with performances by famous artists and chefs and art exchange stage recreating the culture of amateur music, fishing, crabbing, along with music and dance programs, modern folk fashion shows.

Not only does it stop at cuisine, “Hello Ca Mau” is also a story connecting two major localities in the South. Trading activities, connecting supply and demand between businesses in Ca Mau and Ho Chi Minh City will be held throughout the festival, creating conditions for Ca Mau specialties to reach out to major urban markets, while expanding bilateral investment, tourism and trade cooperation.
