Each village and commune in the province finds its own way of doing things, suitable to actual conditions, but with the same goal: investing in synchronous infrastructure, developing the digital economy and society, and improving the quality of people's lives.
Dai Bai Village - "smart village" thanks to digital transformation
Dai Bai village, Gia Binh commune, stands out with its "smart village" model thanks to the application of information technology in management and operation. With 2,190 households and about 10,000 people, the village faces many challenges in management. However, thanks to the establishment of Zalo groups to manage each field such as Party Cell, Front Working Committee and residential groups, the work is deployed quickly and transparently.
More than 90% of working-age people use smartphones, and 98% of households are connected to the internet. All opinions and feedback from people are received and processed promptly through digital platforms, creating a modern digital community, contributing significantly to promoting the process of building new rural areas.
Since 2020, Dai Bai village has installed more than 30 smart security cameras at public places, main roads, communal houses, pagodas, cultural houses, and 60% of households are equipped with home cameras. This system not only improves management efficiency but also contributes to maintaining security and order. For example, on September 18, thanks to data from the camera system, Gia Binh commune police tracked down and arrested a drug addict on the village road.
In Phu My residential group, Tri Qua ward, the countryside landscape is clean and beautiful, the roads are clear, and green trash cans are neatly placed in front of each household. The "Family trash can" model combined with smart waste management application helps monitor sanitation, raise community awareness and improve the living environment. Ms. Nguyen Thi Huyen, a local resident, shared: "Since Dinh To commune achieved advanced new rural standards and applied smart waste management, everything has changed significantly, becoming cleaner and more convenient."
Outstanding results thanks to digital transformation
In the 2021-2025 period, Bac Ninh achieved many important results in new rural construction. In addition to synchronous economic and social infrastructure, ensuring a green, clean, beautiful, safe and culturally rich landscape, the province also focuses on developing the rural digital economy.
The One Commune, Ward, and Town One Product (OCOP) program is managed and monitored through a digital data platform, helping 773 products with a rating of 3 stars or higher to be effectively promoted. The province also aims to preserve and develop 87 traditional craft villages, while applying digital technology in product management and consumption.

Bac Ninh countryside is changing day by day, becoming a livable countryside.
By the end of 2025, the whole province is expected to have 51/66 communes meeting new rural standards and 432 villages meeting model new rural standards. The target for the 2026-2030 period is that more than 90% of communes meet new rural standards, of which 50% are advanced communes and 30% are model communes, with a total mobilized resource of more than 7 trillion VND, including strong investment in digital infrastructure and information technology application.
The documents of the 1st Congress of Bac Ninh Provincial Delegates determined that in the period of 2025-2030, the province will continue to promote the movement "Joining hands to build new rural areas" combined with comprehensive digital transformation, effectively exploiting investment resources. Prioritizing production development, improving people's lives, especially in disadvantaged communes; integrating national target programs and investment policies being implemented.
Bac Ninh also aims to develop rural residential areas in a green, ecological, sustainable and smart direction, adapting to climate change, improving the quality of OCOP products, effectively exploiting local potential and increasing income for people. Thanks to that, each rural area of Bac Ninh will become a livable, modern and smartly connected land.
