In recent days, Hanoi has enjoyed rare beautiful late autumn weather, the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam lit up under the warm sunlight of about 23 degrees Celsius. The quiet, majestic space of Vietnam's first "university" suddenly became an outdoor "film studio", where dozens of photography groups, models and photography enthusiasts gathered.

The golden late autumn light shines through the ancient tiled roof of Khue Van Cac and Bai Duong, illuminating the moss-covered walls and rows of old trees at the entrance to the relic site, creating an ideal setting for artistic photos.

In the central courtyard of the Temple of Literature, a studio in Hanoi is taking photos in ancient costumes for model Lan Anh. The team has 3 photographers, an assistant and a stylist carrying a professional studio light to execute the lighting ideas on purpose.

Just a few dozen steps away from this group is a photography group led by Nguyet Nhi. She and her colleagues are taking a photo shoot in ao dai for a brand with model Tran Ly.

She said that coming up with the idea and convincing customers to choose the Temple of Literature as the setting for the brand’s 10 ao dai sets was quite quick. The group started taking the first product photos at 10am and finished the last photos at around 5pm the same day.

To save time and adjust the shooting ideas to suit the brand, the team brought a computer that connected directly to the camera so that customers could review the photos right on the spot.

Many groups of foreign tourists were quite excited when stopping to watch photo model Tran Ly pose in new ao dai.

Professional lighting, laptops for live photo checking, or on-site shooting accessories show the careful investment of many creative groups.

However, the beauty of a photo does not only depend on modern equipment, but also on the understanding and connection between the photographer and the subject. Hoang Anh - Thu Ha - Thu Hien are third-year students at Phuong Dong University (Hanoi) who chose to wear Ao Dai when taking photos at the Temple of Literature. With a travel camera, they are both models and photographers; the bond of friendship is enough to help them have memorable moments.

The bustling atmosphere at the Temple of Literature courtyard on a beautiful sunny day; many photography groups working in parallel, creating a lively scene like an outdoor "film set". And although each crew came here with different purposes, they all shared the same feeling: The Temple of Literature is always new, always full of surprises - with just light, perspective and a little emotion, the thousand-year-old relic appears with a completely different beauty.
