Thanh Thuy's consistent performance and important scoring ability helped Gunma Green Wings maintain their dominance over Aranmare Yamagata, even though they have Thai stars like Ajcharaporn Kongyot and Wimonrat Thanapan.
Although Ajcharaporn scored 17 points, Aranmare still could not make a surprise against Thanh Thuy and her teammates. Thanh Thuy also contributed greatly to Gunma Green Wings' 3-0 victory over Aranmare the day before.
In the SV League standings, Gunma Green Wings are ranked 9th with 6 wins and 6 losses. Meanwhile, Aranmare Yamagata is at the bottom of the table with 1 win and 11 losses.
Thanh Thuy is ranked 12th in the list of top scorers in the Japanese tournament this season with 171 points after 11 matches.
Thanh Thuy's performance has delighted Vietnamese volleyball fans and is also good news for the national women's volleyball team. Next month, Thanh Thuy will return to join the Vietnamese women's volleyball team to compete in the 2025 SEA Games. The Vietnamese women's volleyball team is aiming for a gold medal at this regional sports festival and Thanh Thuy is the number 1 hope.
