The week includes seven main activities: Inspirational speeches, Science for Life seminars; a series of dialogues exploring the future of VinFuture; the "Touch of Science" exhibition; the VinFuture Awards Ceremony; interaction with the winners of the VinFuture 2025 Awards; and the VinUni Leadership Forum: Conference on Innovation in Higher Education .
The highlight of the event was the VinFuture 2025 Awards Ceremony, held on the evening of December 5th at the Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi). This event honored outstanding scientific works that have a positive and sustainable impact on millions, even billions, of people globally. This year, the award will be given to works that bring the value of "Together We Rise - Together We Prosper" to humanity, in line with the theme, affirming VinFuture's mission of honoring intellect, spreading human values, and serving life.

The remaining six activities revolve around the Awards Ceremony – beginning with the "Inspirational Speech: Breakthrough Technologies of the Future" program on the morning of December 2nd. This is where leading scientists and experts share their vision of technological trends that could shape the world in the coming decades through presentations and visual technology demonstrations.
Following this is a series of Science for Life seminars taking place consecutively from December 2nd to 4th, comprising five in-depth discussion sessions on pressing issues of our time: "AI for Humanity - AI Ethics and Safety in the New Era"; "Advances in Disease Detection and Treatment"; "Innovations in Agriculture and Food"; "Robotics and Intelligent Automation"; and "Science and Innovation for a Sustainable Future," with the participation of leading experts from around the world.
In particular, the icons of the AI and Internet era, Professor Geoffrey Hinton and Professor Yoshua Bengio (VinFuture 2024 Main Prize winners) and Dr. Vinton Cerf (VinFuture 2022 Main Prize winner), will also deliver profound messages about the role of science in serving humanity at the seminar.
Next is the VinFuture Future Exploration Dialogue series, expanding to 10 institutes and universities nationwide, offering tens of thousands of students, lecturers, and researchers across the country the opportunity to meet, dialogue with, and receive direct inspiration from world-class scientists.
Immediately following the awards ceremony is the event "Greeting the Future: Networking with VinFuture 2025 Award Winners," taking place all day on December 6th at VinUni University. The award winners will spend the morning sharing their knowledge, experiences, and inspiring stories from their research journeys with the Vietnamese scientific community and the public; the afternoon will feature in-depth presentations in their respective fields for young scientists and businesses interested in applying their research findings to practical situations.

Also on December 6th, VinUni will host the event "VinUni - Leadership Forum: Conference on Innovation in Higher Education," bringing together education leaders from Vietnam and abroad to discuss the future of teaching and learning, as well as the pioneering role of Vietnamese universities in the era of innovation.
In addition to academic scientific activities, a notable highlight is the "The Foliage V - The Touch of Science" exhibition, marking the first-ever collaboration between two non-profit organizations: the VinFuture Foundation and the Vincom Contemporary Art Center (VCCA). The exhibition aims to celebrate cutting-edge scientific innovations, materials, and achievements alongside humanity's sustainable development history through meticulously crafted artworks by prominent Vietnamese artists. Taking place from December 2nd to February 28th, 2026, the exhibition opens a journey connecting the public with science through artistic touchpoints and rich multi-sensory experiences.
From an initiative originating in Vietnam, by 2025, over 5 seasons, VinFuture has awarded a total of 20 prizes to 20 projects by 48 scientists from 5 continents around the world. The award-winning projects have made significant contributions to the development of humanity. Notably, many scientists who have received VinFuture awards have gone on to be honored with other prestigious awards such as the Nobel Prize, the Queen Elizabeth II Award for Engineering, and the Breakthrough Award, demonstrating VinFuture's pioneering spirit and visionary approach.
