In his opening remarks at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai affirmed: Ca Mau province always accompanies and creates the most favorable conditions for businesses and investors when they come to invest in the province; actively and promptly resolves issues with the highest sense of responsibility; and always stands side-by-side with businesses and investors to exploit and develop the province's existing potential effectively and sustainably.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Ho Hai expressed his hope that, through the contributions and suggestions from investors and experts at the conference, the province would be able to formulate policies and orient its economic development after the merger, contributing to the effective exploitation of the local potential and advantages, gradually transforming Ca Mau province into a growth pole of the Mekong Delta region, a center of rapid, sustainable, and comprehensive development, confidently joining the rest of the country in entering a new era of development.

In his welcoming remarks at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung affirmed: As the economic, financial, scientific, technological, and innovation center of the country, Ho Chi Minh City is ready to be a bridge and a reliable partner to work with Ca Mau to develop a highly competitive and sustainable economy.
With a proactive, practical approach and a commitment to supporting businesses, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung hopes that the relevant agencies of both localities will proactively provide information, clearly explain mechanisms, and promptly receive and process proposals and recommendations from investors; at the same time, businesses and investors need to frankly share their needs and desires for cooperation.
Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Dung requested that the focal points of promotion from both sides continue to play a long-term bridging role, monitor progress after the conference, and support businesses from the initial contact stage to the project's operation. This will create a new turning point in the development linkage between Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau province, contributing to the overall socio-economic growth of the region and the country.

In his opening remarks at the conference, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee Nguyen Duc Hien assessed and highlighted the potential and advantages of Ca Mau province. He suggested that Ca Mau province thoroughly exploit its strengths for development, especially in fisheries, renewable energy, ecotourism, and logistics. However, the province needs to focus on addressing existing institutional and policy shortcomings to unlock resources.
According to Nguyen Duc Hien, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Committee, now is the opportune time for businesses and investors to explore and seek investment opportunities in Ca Mau province. This would allow them to commit to working alongside Ca Mau province to effectively implement the Party and State's mechanisms and policies, creating favorable conditions for businesses to develop.

VCCI Vice President Vo Tan Thanh delivered a speech at the conference.
During the conference, delegates highly appreciated the potential, advantages, role, and position of Ca Mau province after the merger, especially the role of Hon Khoai dual-use general port in socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the locality. From there, they proposed breakthrough directions and solutions to help Ca Mau develop rapidly and sustainably in the future, focusing on developing connectivity and logistics infrastructure; completing energy infrastructure and developing a national renewable energy center; improving institutions and the investment environment and strengthening the private sector; training human resources and developing science and technology. In addition, priority should be given to the development strategy of a green economy and a circular economy.

Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen and a business representative signed a memorandum of cooperation.
At this conference, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province signed a memorandum of cooperation with T&T Group in the fields of services, logistics, commercial and service urban complexes, urban areas, and renewable energy development; signed an agreement with Vietnam Infrastructure Investment Joint Stock Company to implement the Tac Thu Industrial Park infrastructure business project; signed an agreement with Phuc Hoang Nguyen Group Joint Stock Company to explore investment in the Nam Can Eco-tourism and Service Urban Area project in the Nam Can Economic Zone; signed an agreement with Vietnam Royal Investment Group Joint Stock Company in the exploitation and development of green and renewable energy in the province; and signed an agreement with Shinec Joint Stock Company to open up opportunities for cooperation in implementing the Ninh Quoi Industrial Park infrastructure investment and business project.
The signed memoranda of cooperation mark a new step forward in the cooperative relationship between Ca Mau province and businesses investing in the province.

In his closing remarks at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee Huynh Chi Nguyen stated: "Today's conference took place in an open, frank, and constructive atmosphere. The discussions fully reflected the potential and unique advantages of Ca Mau - the southernmost region of the country - with its marine economy, renewable energy, processing industry, ecological agriculture, unique tourism, and increasingly developing startup ecosystem."
