Accompanying the development of Vina Eco Board Co., Ltd. (Ben Luc commune, Tay Ninh province) are individuals who quietly dedicate themselves with perseverance and creativity. Mr. Le Van Hung, the company's mechanical supervisor, is one of those individuals. With 6 years of service, he has consistently contributed his expertise and innovative ideas, playing a crucial role in maintaining the stable operation of machinery, increasing productivity, and reducing production costs for the company.

Hung's work is closely tied to mechanical production lines, requiring a deep understanding of engineering and the ability to react quickly to any problems. Every day, he receives information about malfunctioning machines from various departments, discusses it with his superiors to propose solutions, and arranges appropriate personnel. Given the nature of the job, a mechanic must have experience, oxy-acetylene welding and cutting certifications, machine repair skills, and above all, a diligent and hardworking spirit. Hung always considers these requirements not only as professional demands but also as motivation to continuously improve himself.

“During my work, I had the opportunity to interact with many experienced colleagues, foreign experts, and receive guidance from department leaders. Every workday was a chance for me to learn something new, improve my skills, and develop an innovative mindset. This spirit has helped me come up with many valuable solutions for the company's production activities,” Mr. Hung shared.

From 2022 to the present, Mr. Hung has contributed eight ideas to improve equipment operational efficiency. With recurring incidents occurring in the same location, he constantly questioned how to improve the system to prevent recurrence. Through his dedication, he and his colleagues discussed, experimented, and refined solutions to find the optimal approach. Many of his improvements have significantly reduced downtime and spare parts replacement costs.

Among them, the idea he was most proud of was the fabrication and installation of shock absorbers for the T62 area of the factory. When the Board of Directors requested a 15% increase in production capacity, the machinery had to operate faster, leading to reduced component lifespan, especially in the T62 area – where the continuous output of boards damaged two shock absorber cylinders, causing product edges to break and resulting in significant cost losses for the company.

Faced with this situation, Mr. Hung proactively proposed research and improvement. After more than a month of tinkering and experimentation, he successfully fabricated a shock absorber using high-strength steel springs to replace the old mechanism. When put into operation, the product breakage problem ceased, cylinders no longer malfunctioned, and machine downtime was significantly reduced. Importantly, this solution saved the company over 1 billion VND per year, affirming the effectiveness and innovative nature of the improvement initiative.

Mr. Hung said: “The working environment at Vina Eco Board is very dynamic and suits me well.
