Dak Lak won first prize in the 2025 National Creativity Contest for Youth and Children

On November 15, in Hanoi, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations coordinated with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to organize the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Competition in 2025.

The group of students from Dong Du Secondary and High School won first place in the competition.

This year's contest attracted 847 entries from 34 provinces and cities across the country. The entries were in five categories: learning materials; environmentally friendly products; technical solutions to respond to climate change, protect the environment and develop the economy ; computer software; household appliances and children's toys.

As a result, the Organizing Committee selected 105 topics to award prizes, including: 5 First prizes, 10 Second prizes, 30 Third prizes and 60 Consolation prizes.

The project "Design and manufacture of semi-automatic durian shell separator" by Dang Hoang Dung and Pham Anh Thu, students of class 12A1, Dong Du Secondary and High School, has won the 21st National Youth and Children's Creativity Contest in 2025. The project was carried out by a group of students based on the actual need for freezing durian to reduce pressure from harvesting, preservation and transportation. The design and manufacture of semi-automatic durian shell separator both increases productivity and ensures product quality.

The participation and success of Dak Lak students not only demonstrate their creativity but also result from their efforts in promoting the scientific research movement in schools, contributing to nurturing a passion for science and technology.
