Groundbreaking ceremony of Hung Son Primary - Secondary Boarding School project

DNO - On the morning of November 16, at Abanh 1 village (Hung Son commune), the People's Committee of Da Nang city held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Hung Son Primary - Secondary Boarding School project.

The project has a total cost of more than 278 billion VND, built on an area of ​​more than 73,000m², belongs to group B, a grade III civil project; fully meets the standards of a boarding school according to regulations, with a design suitable for the terrain and climate characteristics of mountainous areas.

The primary school block consists of two buildings, with a total floor area of ​​over 1,995m². The secondary school block consists of one building with a floor area of ​​over 2,050m². Subject classrooms, administrative - headquarter areas, canteens, libraries, multi-purpose halls, sports fields, etc. are newly invested in, ensuring functionality and long-term operational quality.

The project devotes a large area to the dormitory system, including: a dormitory for teachers and staff with a total area of ​​over 3,060m²; a dormitory for primary school students with an area of ​​3,669m²; a dormitory for secondary school students with an area of ​​over 4,659m², fully equipped with resting rooms, living areas, restrooms, study spaces and playgrounds.

According to plan, the project will be completed in August 2026 and put into use from the 2026-2027 school year, serving more than 1,340 primary and secondary school students.

A representative of the Danang Project Management Board for Investment in Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works - the project investor, said that the unit will closely coordinate with the construction contractor and supervision consultant to ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the planning and design; at the same time, focusing on labor safety and natural disaster prevention and control during the construction process.
