At the scene, Mr. Tran Nam Hung assigned the Da Nang City Military Command to preside over and have full authority to decide on rescue plans.
The forward command post was asked to determine the appropriate time and opportunity to launch a search for the missing people amid forecasts of continued heavy rain, increasing the risk of landslides.
Up to now, 171 households around the landslide area have been evacuated to temporary shelters. Mr. Tran Nam Hung requested the local authorities to ensure adequate accommodation, food, clean water and medical care for the people.

Mr. Tran Nam Hung also requested that units quickly propose urgent and long-term solutions to stabilize people's lives, protect infrastructure and prevent landslides. For households in high-risk areas, he requested to mobilize people to relocate decisively this year, not allowing any households to continue to stay on mountain slopes and steep slopes.
At the meeting, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tuan, Deputy Commander of the Da Nang City Military Command, said that 151 officers and soldiers from the Thanh My defense area, militia, border guards, and vehicles have been mobilized to the landslide area.

However, due to the mud and complicated developments, the forces are currently unable to reach the landslide site. The Command has set up locations where people are suspected to be missing and will send 4 search dogs this afternoon. A reconnaissance team is also going upstream from the downstream of the stream to expand the search area. Flycam is used to observe the scene, initially detecting many new landslide risk points around the area.
