Danang University of Education was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal.

(Dan Tri) - The President awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the University of Education - Danang University. Many groups and individuals of the school also received emulation flags and certificates of merit.

On November 15, the University of Education - Danang University held a ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Connection and Development" (1975-2025), marking half a century of formation and dedication to the education career.

At the ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Education and Training Pham Ngoc Thuong, authorized by the President, awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to the University of Education - Danang University. The Department of Student Management and Library of the school was also honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal.

In addition, many outstanding collectives and individuals of the school were also awarded Emulation Flags and Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister , the Ministry of Education and Training and localities. Associate Professor Dr. Vo Van Minh, Principal of the school, was also awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for his outstanding contributions.

University of Education - University of Danang, one of the first three member schools of Danang University, was formed from the merger of Quang Nam - Danang Pedagogical College.

After 50 years of continuous development, the school now has more than 350 staff, of which 67% of lecturers have doctoral degrees. The school is training 34 undergraduate majors and 35 graduate programs, attracting about 10,000 students and 1,500 graduate students.

Over the past half century, the University of Education - Danang University has made remarkable progress in terms of scale, training quality and academic reputation, affirming its position as one of the leading educational institutions in the region.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong praised the efforts and achievements of the University of Education - University of Danang. He emphasized that this is one of the 7 key pedagogical schools in the country, trusted by the Ministry of Education and Training to participate in the general education reform program.

With its continuous contributions, the University of Education - Danang University has been awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the President many times, and has been honored to receive many noble awards from the State of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Deputy Minister Pham Ngoc Thuong expressed his hope that the school will continue to promote its glorious 50-year tradition, constantly innovate and create to affirm its position as a leading pedagogical school in the Central Highlands region, making an important contribution to the country's educational development.
