The event marked a strong transformation, from an event host to a center for promoting global action, following the success of the Hanoi Convention 2025 and the “Not Alone” campaign.

At the forum, students were empowered to become “Digital Ambassadors” - pioneering ambassadors spreading knowledge and responsible actions in the digital world. This spirit attracted the participation of many representatives from departments, ministries and branches such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Education and Training and leading international organizations. Among them, UNICEF representative - Ms. Vu Kim Chi - Education Officer of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Vietnam led an in-depth dialogue on child protection policies and digital capacity building.

Speaking to the press, Mr. Bui The Giang, former Deputy Head of the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations, former Deputy Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations Security Council, highlighted the historical significance of the Hanoi Convention. With extensive diplomatic experience, he pointed out: “This is the first time, after 80 years of existence of the United Nations, that this organization has a convention on cybercrime on a global scale... Signing is difficult, implementing is even more difficult.”

He proposed a clear roadmap of action, in which the number one priority is to “spread the content of the convention to the entire population, especially the youth”. a force that is both the most active and vulnerable in cyberspace, while emphasizing the need for specific legal policies and enhanced international cooperation.

To realize that spirit in the educational environment, Dr. Nguyen Vinh Son, General Principal of Wellspring Hanoi International Bilingual School, shared the school's specific strategy. With nearly 30 years of experience, Mr. Son affirmed: "Wellspring is a pioneer in bringing students to participate in experiential activities, simulated court sessions, United Nations models... so that they not only learn theory but also practice, becoming responsible digital citizens." This demonstrates the long-term commitment of a school that has included Informatics and Computer Science in its compulsory curriculum since its inception.

The event also received the support and appreciation from parents. There, the support of the family, the first and most important “brick” to build a “village” to protect children, also found a common voice.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Head of the High School Parents' Association, shared: "My family's point of view is not to prohibit children from using social networks or completely control their devices, but to teach them self-awareness and knowledge to identify risks themselves."

Ms. Huong emphasized that the fundamental solution is to build openness and dialogue within the family: “Families regularly discuss with their children about scams and online incidents so that they understand the nature of the problem, not just hear 'forbidden'". This approach shows trust and respect for children, while also emphasizing the role of early education instead of purely prohibitive measures.

A special highlight of Cyber Peace 2025 is the realization of the above views by placing students at the center, transforming them from passive subjects in need of protection into "Digital Messengers" who actively create solutions.

This spirit was demonstrated throughout the in-depth designed activities. The opening session was the Debate Showcase, where students enthusiastically discussed a key topic: “Is the optimal solution to protect children online a priority for early digital literacy education or is it necessary to have tighter control from the government?”

Continuing that academic atmosphere, the Model United Nations Conference (WISMUN 2025) exposed students to international issues. In the role of diplomats, students enthusiastically discussed solutions to narrow the digital divide and increase online safety for children in developing countries.

Not stopping at simulation, the Interactive Forum - Post-Convention Dialogue, Borderless Dialogue - has created an open dialogue space, where representatives of the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences and the students themselves sat together, frankly discussing the responsibilities of each citizen in the digital age. These multi-dimensional interactions have contributed to helping future "digital messengers" form a comprehensive and profound vision.

The event ended with the “Every Click for Peace” ceremony, signing an online commitment, affirming the determination of the entire community to act. The message was sent throughout: “A healthy digital culture is not created by technology, but by the choices, attitudes and responsibilities of the young generation in every online action”.

Cyber Peace 2025 is not just a forum, but also a spark of knowledge, responsibility and digital aspiration. From that spark, Hanoi is not simply a location on the map, but has become a signal coordinate, sending a strong message about a generation of Vietnamese “Digital Messengers”, global citizens who not only know how to speak up, but also dare to take concrete actions to create a safe and humane cyberspace for today and tomorrow.
