On the afternoon of November 15, at the Government Headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with 60 teachers representing outstanding educators on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
On behalf of the education sector and more than 1.6 million teachers, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son expressed his gratitude and respect for the Prime Minister's affection and concern. According to the Minister, the presence of 60 teachers at today's meeting is not only a personal honor, but also a shared pride of more than 1.6 million teachers nationwide.
Each teacher is a beautiful story about love for the profession, perseverance to overcome difficulties and constant creativity. They are shining examples of ethics and personality, and are the core factors in the "Innovation and Creativity" emulation movements, contributing to fostering trust and arousing pride in the noble and humane image of teachers.

Honored to be present at the meeting, teacher Nguyen Thu Quyen, history teacher, who has trained 168 students to win provincial and national history awards with many noble awards of the teaching profession, expressed her pride in teaching at Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong city - a collective that is always eager to innovate, contribute and spread knowledge.
Teacher Nguyen Thu Quyen said that in her teaching work, she always keeps in mind that history lessons are not only a journey to learn about the past but also a journey to nurture pride and civic responsibility in each student.
From that belief, she constantly innovates teaching methods, combining History with STEM and digital technology to help students "step into history" through 3D virtual museums, digital maps of hometown relics, or environmental protection competitions on the Greenfy.vn app, attracting more than 20,000 students to participate; planting trees, sorting trash and checking in on green maps in just 20 days.
Mr. Nguyen Tran My, Principal of Ngoc Linh Ethnic Boarding School, Tra Linh Commune, Da Nang City, pointed out the material and spiritual difficulties of teachers and students in remote areas.
Mr. My expressed that the school's teachers did not stand aside from the journey of finding letters, establishing a small club to take advantage of Saturdays and Sundays after school hours to repair the school for the students. Over the past 10 years, the teachers have built about 20 schools and more than 100 classrooms, providing hundreds of meals so that "no student is left behind".
On behalf of 80,000 teachers in the vocational education sector, Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Principal of a private college in Ho Chi Minh City, proposed promoting "public investment and private management" in teacher training; creating conditions for the private vocational education sector to participate in national target programs to create competition and increase efficiency.
Welcoming 60 teachers, representing more than 1.6 million teachers and educational administrators nationwide, on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, the Prime Minister expressed his deepest gratitude to all generations of teachers and teachers across the country who have always devoted themselves day and night to the glorious and noble cause of "cultivating people" of our nation.

Through the teachers' sincere and touching sharing of life and career stories, the Prime Minister expressed his respect and gratitude to the teachers who have many outstanding achievements in the education and training career; are the core elements spreading good values to students; are truly shining examples of morality, self-study and creativity, dedication and devotion to the cause of educating people.
"We are proud of our teachers who have made every effort to contribute, dedicate, and silently sacrifice to "plant knowledge, nurture intelligence, nurture dreams, and realize students' aspirations. We are very grateful to teachers who not only impart knowledge but also accompany and help students explore the world and find good values in life. For each teacher, teaching is not just a job but also a passion, a mission, and a dedication," said the Prime Minister.
In the coming time, to continue to drastically innovate fundamentally and comprehensively education and training, aiming for Vietnam's education and training to reach the advanced level of the Asian region by 2030 and the world's advanced level by 2045, the Prime Minister requested the Minister of Education and Training, ministries, branches and localities to continue to pay more attention and care for the cause of education and training; truly create a breakthrough in the quality of education and training at all levels, with the spirit of "Taking students as the center and subject - Teachers as the driving force - Schools as the support - Families as the fulcrum - Society as the foundation".
The Prime Minister proposed to continue reviewing, amending and promptly supplementing institutions, mechanisms and policies to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of education.
Focus on improving the quality of education and training at all levels, especially university training in a practical and in-depth manner. Continue to review and plan the network of preschool and general education facilities, effectively implement the policy of tuition exemption and support for preschool children and general education students.

The Prime Minister believes that every teacher will continue to be a shining example of cultivating virtue, cultivating talent, loving the profession and loving people.
In particular, for the teaching staff, the Prime Minister suggested focusing on building, reviewing, amending and supplementing policies and remuneration regimes for the teaching staff in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 71.
Research, develop and promulgate policies to ensure that teachers receive salaries commensurate with their efforts, especially preschool teachers, those working in remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas, teachers teaching in arduous and hazardous professions...
Focus on recruiting and restructuring the teaching staff according to the assigned staff, promptly overcoming the local surplus and shortage of teachers in the spirit: "Where there are students, there are teachers".
The Prime Minister believes that each teacher will continue to be a shining example of cultivating virtue and talent, loving the profession and people; constantly learning, cultivating, accumulating knowledge and experience, improving professional qualifications; being proactive, applying science and technology, having new approaches in teaching and learning; so that each lesson is truly useful and interesting, so that each school day is truly a happy day.
The Prime Minister wished the entire education and training sector and all teachers to always promote their sense of responsibility and enthusiasm for the profession, strive to overcome all difficulties, continue to carry out the glorious mission and responsibility of "teaching letters and teaching people", making an important contribution to bringing our country to steady development in the new era.
