The event was an emotional reunion for many generations of teachers, students and alumni, looking back on the 65-year journey of building and development, thereby nurturing faith and aspirations for the new stage.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Party Committee Secretary, Principal of the School affirmed the pride of being one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the country, possessing an open, highly international, dynamic and creative educational ecosystem.
Over the past 65 years, the international cooperation network in training, scientific research, lecturer-student exchange and business connection has brought the school's image far and wide, becoming a bridge of knowledge between Vietnam and the world.

At the event, Foreign Trade University was honored to receive certificates of merit/letters of recognition from 15 embassies, 3 international organizations and many foreign educational institutions. In particular, Japanese Ambassador Ito Naoki presented a Certificate of Merit recognizing FTU's contributions to promoting Vietnam - Japan educational cooperation. Spanish Ambassador Carmen Cano De Lasala sent a Letter of Recognition, highly appreciating FTU's efforts in teaching Spanish, culture and international business, contributing to enhancing cultural exchange and expanding educational cooperation opportunities.
The 65th anniversary festival took place with many rich activities: Documentary photo space, scientific publication exhibition, "Memories of the old Foreign Trade class" space, "Past and Present" culinary experience, Alumni Garden area connecting businessmen - alumni, impromptu art performance stage, closing ceremonies of the "65 Years of Pride" contest, "FTU Homecoming Race 2025" race, and meetings of faculties, institutes and units throughout the school.


With the spirit of innovation, solidarity and creativity, Foreign Trade University has successfully completed its goals in 10 years of autonomy (2015-2025), affirming its position as one of the leading universities in Vietnam in terms of training quality, scientific research, knowledge transfer and community contribution. The multicultural, modern and internationally integrated educational environment continues to be the mark that creates the sustainable attraction of Foreign Trade for domestic and international learners and employers.
