Donating computers to serve digital transformation work at the grassroots level in Duong Huu commune

BAC NINH - On November 14, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Duong Huu commune received and handed over 13 sets of computers with printers to 13 village chiefs in the area to serve management work, handle procedures and promote digital transformation application at the grassroots level.

The above equipment was sponsored by Duong Linh Wood Pellet Company Limited. This is a meaningful activity, contributing to supporting the locality in strengthening its infrastructure, improving work efficiency, especially in the context of the commune promoting the "Digital Education for All" movement and standardizing information technology skills for cadres and party members.

Comrade Khuc Van Sinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Duong Huu Commune, informed that the locality is widely implementing the "Digital Education for All" movement. By the end of 2025, it is expected that over 80% of adults in the commune will have basic knowledge of digital transformation, digital skills, be able to use smart devices to exploit information, use essential digital platforms and services, and know how to protect themselves in the digital environment.

Along with mobilizing social resources to supplement equipment for grassroots cadres, Duong Huu commune also recommended the Department of Science and Technology to continue reviewing and developing telecommunications broadcasting infrastructure to the entire area, thereby serving well the requirements of comprehensive digital transformation in the locality.

It is known that Duong Linh Wood Pellets Limited Company under Duong Linh Group specializes in the production, trading of wood pellets and logistics. In September 2025, the Group inaugurated two factories producing wood pellets for export in An Lac commune and Bo Ha commune; organized the groundbreaking ceremony for a wood pellet factory in Duong Huu commune with a designed capacity of 220 thousand tons/year, expected to operate in 2026. When put into operation, the factory will contribute to the consumption of a large volume of planted forest wood, increase the value of forestry products, create jobs and stable income for local people.
