General Secretary To Lam outlined a number of priorities for Luxshare-ICT to increase investment in Vietnam.

On the afternoon of November 15, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, General Secretary To Lam received Mr. Vuong Lai Thang, Vice President of Luxshare-ICT Group, China.

At the reception, the General Secretary highly appreciated and welcomed Luxshare-ICT Group's interest in promoting investment and business cooperation in Vietnam over the past 10 years, with a total investment capital of more than 1.8 billion USD, creating jobs for tens of thousands of workers.

Thanking Mr. Vuong Lai Thang for his positive assessments of Vietnam's development prospects, the General Secretary affirmed that Vietnam has achieved encouraging results and will continue to make efforts to maintain socio-political stability, economic growth and development.

Appreciating the positive developments in political relations and substantive cooperation in various fields between Vietnam and China in recent times, the General Secretary said that these are the conditions and solid foundation for businesses of the two countries to feel completely secure in increasing exchanges, expanding cooperation, reaping successes together, contributing to consolidating the connection of interests between the two countries.

The General Secretary shared the development vision and important position of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in creating new momentum, promoting the country's breakthrough development in the new era.

The General Secretary affirmed that the Party and State of Vietnam always welcome foreign enterprises to expand investment, cooperate and succeed in Vietnam, and will create favorable conditions and treat all foreign enterprises doing business and investing in Vietnam equally, and will continuously improve the investment and business environment towards fairness, transparency and convenience.

The General Secretary outlined a number of priorities for Luxshare-ICT to continue increasing investment in Vietnam, including digital economy, green economy, science and technology, innovation, electronic components, semiconductor industry development; promoting technology transfer and supporting training of high-quality human resources for Vietnam.

Vice President of Luxshare-ICT Group Vuong Lai Thang expressed his honor and sincere thanks to the General Secretary for taking the time to receive him; reported to the General Secretary the business and development results of the Group; emphasized that the Group always considers Vietnam the most important production center among the 29 countries and territories in which the Group has invested abroad.

The leaders of Luxshare-ICT Group affirmed that they always focus on training and improving the qualifications of Vietnamese engineers and human resources, with the Group's localization rate always ranking first among foreign enterprises.

Agreeing with the important orientations of the General Secretary and expressing confidence in Vietnam's development prospects, Mr. Vuong Lai Thang affirmed that Luxshare-ICT will continue to invest and expand its business in Vietnam through implementing a number of large investment projects on science and technology and innovation in Bac Ninh province and other localities with the turnover of new projects not less than 10 billion USD, thereby contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position in the high-tech industry chain in the region and the world.
