Tan An High School celebrates its 70th anniversary

On the morning of November 15, Tan An High School (Long An Ward, Tay Ninh Province) held a meeting to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the school's founding (1955 - 2025) and the anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025). Attending the meeting was Director of Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training Nguyen Quang Thai.

The school board gives gifts to former students of Tan An High School

Tan An High School, formerly Tan An Secondary School, was established on October 3, 1955, marking the first school of Long An province (old).

After 70 years of development, from a school with only 2 classes with nearly 100 students, up to now, Tan An High School has been recognized as meeting national standards and has been accredited with level 2 education quality, expanding the scale of the school, meeting teaching and learning conditions; and is one of the high quality, stable high schools in Tay Ninh province.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Tan An High School will have a total of 1,548 students. The school will continue to develop the general education program, promote 2-session teaching/day, strengthen STEM education... in parallel with implementing Resolution No. 71 of the Politburo on "Breakthrough in education and training development", improving the quality of education.

Director of Tay Ninh Department of Education and Training Nguyen Quang Thai sent his congratulations to the Board of Directors, teachers and students; hoping that in the coming time, Tan An High School will continue to focus on improving the quality of comprehensive education, aiming at the harmonious development of knowledge, ethics, skills and creativity of students; meeting the educational requirements in the new context, new era - especially after the merger of local governments at 2 levels.

At the ceremony, delegates met and interacted with the former Principal and former students of Tan An High School.
