On the afternoon of November 15, the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibition (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) coordinated with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province to open a photo exhibition with the theme "Colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups".
This is an activity to honor, preserve and promote the cultural values of 54 ethnic groups, contributing to improving the quality of cultural life, while promoting cultural values in the national target program for socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.
The event takes place from November 15 to 24 at the coastal park next to Tram Huong Tower (Nha Trang ward).
The exhibition displays 250 works, including 200 works selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and 50 works about ethnic groups in Khanh Hoa province selected by the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province.
The works focus on introducing the typical cultural features of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups from customs, practices, beliefs, lifestyles, especially traditional costumes and festivals.

Mr. Ma The Anh - Director of the Department of Fine Arts, Photography and Exhibitions - said that the number of 250 photos, although not really large and rich, are vivid, authentic, and precious moments that the photographers have preserved through photography, with much respect and love.
"Through introducing the photo series, we want to affirm the attention of the Party, State and all our people to preserving and promoting the precious cultural values of the community of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups," Mr. Anh shared.
Going to see the exhibition with his friends, Duong Ngoc Hoang (19 years old) shared: "I am very impressed with the arrangement and diversity of the photos and traditional costumes. The exhibition is not only beautiful but also very meaningful, helping us understand and love more the beauty of Vietnamese culture."
